Elle est mesur\u00e9e en g\/cm\u00b3 ou en kg\/m\u00b3.<\/p>\n<p>En raison de la dilatation thermique, la densit\u00e9 d&#8217;une substance d\u00e9pend fortement de sa temp\u00e9rature. Le densim\u00e8tre VariDens de SCHMIDT + HAENSCH permet de mesurer pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment la densit\u00e9 tout en stabilisant la temp\u00e9rature de l&#8217;\u00e9chantillon. Ce r\u00e9cipient est fabriqu\u00e9 en verre borosilicate et est capable d&#8217;osciller gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa forme en U &#8211; d&#8217;o\u00f9 le &#8220;principe de l&#8217;oscillateur \u00e0 flexion&#8221;. Ce conteneur est ensuite excit\u00e9 \u00e9lectroniquement pour produire une oscillation constante.<\/p>\n<p>Un remplissage excessif de l&#8217;oscillateur au-del\u00e0 des points de stockage n&#8217;a aucune influence sur la mesure. C&#8217;est pourquoi les densim\u00e8tres SCHMIDT + HAENSCH peuvent \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s pour mesurer la densit\u00e9 des \u00e9chantillons qui s&#8217;\u00e9coulent dans le tube (mesure continue).<\/p>\n<p>Il existe une corr\u00e9lation certaine entre l&#8217;indice de r\u00e9fraction et la composition de nombreuses solutions \u00e0 deux compos\u00e9s. L&#8217;exemple le plus connu d&#8217;un tel m\u00e9lange est une solution de saccharose dans l&#8217;eau, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tudi\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re approfondie. L&#8217;indice de r\u00e9fraction d&#8217;un r\u00e9fractom\u00e8tre peut \u00eatre mis \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9chelle de sorte que la valeur indique directement la substance s\u00e8che en % RTS.
